Today on the Signorile Show

3:35pm ET - Normal Heart, the groundbreaking Tony-Award winning play written by Larry Kramer has been adapted for film by HBO, the drama tells the story of the onset of the HIV-AIDS Crisis in New York City in the early 1980s, and takes a look at the nation's sexual politics as gay activists and their allies in the medical community fight to expose the truth about the burgeoning epidemic to a city and nation in denial.  Joining us discuss this new film adaptation is one of the film’s stars, Jim Parsons who plays the role of Tommy Boatwright. THE NORMAL HEART debuts SUNDAY, MAY 25 (9:00-11:15 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO.

4:35pm ET - In Canada, it is illegal for HIV-positive people to have sex without disclosing their status, in some cases even if they use a condom and no one gets infected they still run the risk of arrest and prosecution.  Joining us to discuss Canada's vicious HIV laws is Sarah Schulman, a Distinguished Professor of the Humanities at The College of Staten Island and a Fellow at the New York Institute for the Humanities.
