Today on the Signorile Show

Guest / 2:30pm EST Steven Petrow of Gay Manners returns to the show to speak with us about his most recent pieces on Civil Behaviors -- a father of an adopted son asks how he should respond to strangers asking about his child and he answers the question of a man who feels like an older gentleman at his gym is starring to long at him and it is making him uncomfortable.

Guest / 3:30pm EST - Last week, we spoke with Marcel Neergaard, an 11 year old who successfully got Students First to rescind an award given to anti-gay Tennessee legislator, Representative John Ragan.  This inspired a call last week from Kate in St. Petersburg to share her story with us about her son being kicked out of school for wearing eye makeup.  Since then, she’s gone further, creating a petition to get the school board to start a tolerance training program for teachers and to accept their students. Katelynn Martin joins us this afternoon to talk about what's happened since she called in last week.

Guest / 4:30pm EST - No news from the Supreme Court today regarding Proposition 8 and DOMA.  One of the Justices we've been talking about and how he could decide is Justice Anthony Kennedy, who has said in the past that denying same-sex couples the right to marriage could be an issue of gender discrimination. Sonja West of Slate.com joins us today to discuss Kennedy's thought process and how we could see him decide.
