Today on the Signorile Show

We are LIVE starting at 3pm EST today!

Guest / 3:30pm EST - Last night, First Lady Michelle Obama was interrupted by a protester from GetEQUAL in order to bring attention to the Executive Order the President could sign that would protect LGBT employees of companies that are contracted by the government.  Twitter erupted last night, in both support and anger over the protest.  Today, we'll speak with Heather Cronk of GetEQUAL about their move and Anthea Butler, Associated Professor of Religious Studies & African Studies at the University of Pennsylvania, about her criticisms over the interruption.

Guest / 4:30pm EST - Marcel Neergaard is an 11 year old who recently started a petition with his father, Mike, on MoveOn.org, asking the organization Students First to rescind the award that they had given to Tennessee Representative John Ragan, who is responsible for introducing the newest version of the Class Room Protection Act, a bill that would discriminate against LGBT Students.  We'll speak with Marcel and his father today about their petition.

**** UPDATE: As of publishing this post, StudentsFirst has now rescinded it's award to Rep. Ragan.  We'll speak with them about this success.
