Today on the Signorile Show

3:35pm ET - Pat "PJ" Newton had hoped to open a bar in Shannon, Mississippi, a town where she had run several gay bars in the 90's.  Newton's application was rejected in a 4 to 1 vote by the town's aldermen.  Newton and the Southern Poverty Law Center have filed a lawsuit against the town aldermen for unconstitutionally discrimination against gays.  Joining us to discuss Newton's story is Lila Shapiro who writes for Huffington Posts Gay Voices.

4:35pm ET - Texas has some of the strictest laws in the country regarding voter ID's, leaving many eligible voters unable to vote in Tuesday's election for statewide Constitutional Amendments because of these laws.  Ari Berman, Political Reporter with The Nation, returns to the show today to speak with us about the Voter ID laws in Texas.
