Today on The Michelangelo Signorile Show on SiriusXM PROGRESS ch.127

3:35pm ET - Noah Michelson, Executive Editor at The Huffington Post's Gay Voicesreturns to The Signorile Show today to help us close out the week with the stories making headlines in the LGBT blog-o-sphere. You can also follow Noah on facebook and twitter.

4:35pm ET - Over the past few years we have seen some great advances in LGBT equality, but we have also seen how the enemies of equality have thought of new ways to limit the rights of LGBT Americans, yet despite the conservative push back main stream American Culture as a whole has become increasingly accepting of LGBT people, and as a result of this increased acceptance it seems that some gay men are all too eager to leave their campy, cruising past behind and assimilate in to a hetero-normative culture. But according to J. Bryan Lowder an associate editor for Slate who writes and edits for Outward, Slate’s LGBTQ section, and for the culture section, the price of equality shouldn’t be conformity.  He joins us today to discuss his piece for slate titled What Was Gay?
