When the news of the right-wing terrorist attack at the at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, South Carolina broke the nation was sent into a state deep mourning for the nine people killed at the hands of white-supremacist Dylann Roof. And, in the aftermath of the shooting the debate over the placement of confederate battle flags on the state house grounds has been re-ignited.
