Today on The Michelangelo Signorile Show on SiriusXM PROGRESS ch.127

Yesterday, we spoke with openly gay Rhode Island Congressman David Cicilline about the introduction of the Equality Act in Congress, a bill that would extend the same set of rights to LGBT Americans that are currently afforded to other protected groups.  Today, Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley, his co-sponsor in the Senate, returns to the show to talk about the Equality Act and the importance of its historic introduction in the Senate.  Be sure to follow the Senator on Twitter.

It has been a long time since we last had "Amelia" from Huffington Posts Gay Voices on the show, but she returns today, in studio, to talk to us about how her now 10-year-old son who identifies as gay has been doing and about several of her posts about how she's raising them by breaking the chains of the status quo when it comes to parenting.
