Anyone who has ever wasted hours stuck in
traffic or been stranded overnight in an airport can see the deficiencies in
our country’s transportation system, and while most Americans agree that the
need to update and improve our infrastructure is urgent, there does not seem to
be any sense of urgency among our elected officials and government agencies to
make these changes happen? In her new
book Move: Putting America’s Infrastructure Back in the Lead, Harvard Business School Professor and
chair/director of the Harvard University Leadership Initiative Rosabeth Moss Kanter addresses the
problems our nation faces as a result of our deficient transportation
infrastructure and offers solutions to modernize and improve the way we live,
travel, and conduct business in this country.
Professor Kantor joins me today to talk all about her book, you can also follow Professor Kantor on twitter.
