The Michelangelo Signorile Show on SiriusXM PROGRESS ch.127

Yesterday, Donald Trump released his tax plan, and despite the GOP presidential frontrunner’s claims that he is a new kind of Republican, his tax plan shows that he is anything but.  Joining me today to discuss Mr. Trump’s plan and how it compares to other conservative options is Russell Berman of The Atlantic.  You can also follow Russell on twitter.

As the civil war in Syria continues to rage on and more and more people are forced to flee their homes as a result of the violence; Americans are forced to come to terms with the question of what should our country to for these refugees.  Should America open her arms to the “huddled masses yearning to breathe free,” or should she fold them in a defensive posture born out of fear that refugees will harbor terrorists among them?   Joining me today to discuss the Syrian refugee crisis and the reasons why the US must do more to help these people is Anne Speckhard, an Adjunct Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Georgetown University Medical School and an adviser to NATO, the US Department of Defense, and many foreign governments on terrorism, who wrote all about the issue in an Op-Ed in The New York Times titled “How Dragging Our Feet on Refugees Creates More Terrorists”.  You can also follow Anne on twitter.
