I meant to post this before the show, but just didn't get a chance, two terrific interviews. We'll be replaying them in the near future, and we'll try to get some clips up this week if we can. Armistead Maupin came on to talk about his new novel, Michael Tolliver Lives!, and Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont (and Independent who identifies as a socialist and caucuses with the Dems)joined me to talk about Gonzales, Iraq, Democratic missteps, the immigration bill and the anus-obsessed crackpot surgeon general nominee, Dr. James Holsinger. Sanders sits on the Senate Education, Health, Labor and Pensions Committee, which will hold hearings on Holsinger and says he's they'll look at all the facts but a homophobe is not going to become the top doc.
