Fred Thompson on Marriage for Gays: So Be It

Once again Fred Thompson has belched out something that's going to drive Dobson and the Christian right nuts, surely furthering their mulling a third-party conservative candidate. Remember when Thompson first announced, and, attempting to downplay the reality of the what the fundies likes to call the gay marriage threat, he said that no state legislature had passed marriage for gays? Well, check out this clip.

Also, notice the bizarre rocking, as if he's bored just having to sit there and focus on actual ideas. The New York Times reports today that in Iowa yesterday, when Thompson finished his speech, everyone just sat there. He had to ask for a round of applause!
