The Pope is Coming


I was part of the welcoming committee the last time Cardinal Ratzinger came to town, almost 20 years ago, and you can read about it here or here.

Now the man who belched up all of the most vicious antigay doctrines of the Catholic Church -- and then became pope himself, donning his chic sunglasses, flowing gowns and Prada loafers, proving that the devil does indeed wear Prada -- is coming to America again.
