A "Lifestyle" Gaffe

Obama campaign aide talked about the gay "lifestyle" on a recent LGBT conference call. Yeah, that's not good, but I've got to tell you: Every other day on my radio program a gay or lesbian person calls up and uses the term "lifestyle" to describe their lives. With so many of our own people ignorant on the use of the word, it doesn't surprise me that even well-meaning straights will use it without knowing it's a bad thing.

UDPATE: A clarification: The Obama aide who made the gaffe, Steve Hildebrand, is gay himself -- which pretty much proves my point.
