That's what "The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation" (GLAAD) is claiming, saying that a scene in the unusual superhero movie takes a "cheap, unfunny shot" at gays.
The shot comes in a scene between Will Smith and Jason Bateman while referring to three comic book heroes as:
"Homo. Homo in red. Norwegian Homo."
GLAAD believes "the slur sends a message that it's okay to discriminate against gay people." Considering that Hancock is marketed as a "family" film, and that at last count the movie is about to pass the $200 million mark in sales, do you think this is a good fight for GLAAD to pick?
