Public Opinion Is Strong For Gays In The Military

Not only has Sam Nunn seen the light on DADT, but a new survey done by The Washington Post and ABC news now shows that as many as 75% of Americans think LGBT people should be allowed to serve openly in the military. That's a 13% increase from the early days of Bill Clinton's administration and the advent of DADT.

Most importantly a majority of Democrats, Republicans and Independents believe letting gays serve openly and proudly is the right thing to do, putting John McCain once again on the wrong side of a crucial issue.
