Surrender?
Are right-wing religious fascists ready to give up if they lose the California ballot measure? At least one of them, wild man Donald Wildmon, is claiming that:
"If we lose California, if they defeat the marriage amendment, I'm afraid that the culture war is over and Christians have lost," the Evangelical leader told columnist Bill Berkowitz.
"I’ve never said that publicly until now," Wildmon added, "but that’s just the reality of the fact."
Of course, don't hold your breath. They're not about to give up their power base that easily. But it is interesting watching them completely freak out.
