Obama's Choice on Saturday. Maybe.

After waiting all week, every day, for that text message the Obama campaign promised, we all learned yesterday that they're now staging an event for Saturday at which Obama may announce his VP running mate. This makes no sense since the press will surely know who is headed to Springfield well before they announce (it's not the biggest city in the world, where somebody can just slip in.) Now the campaign is saying the announcement could come earlier, but that pick will share the stage with Obama at the event on Saturday.

Well, we won't be able to talk about it until Monday anyway, when we're coming to you on the show live from Denver. But don't forget our special event today in DC. Will remind you about it again later.
