So Obama's campaign manager David Plouffe sent us an e-mail last night (of the nearly dozen e-mails he seems to send us each day) letting us know that we can sign up for a text message alert the second Barack picks his Vice President. It's kind of a cool idea but we're not sure we would sign up for it: the The American College of Emergency Physicians recently warned against the hazards of texting while doing other activities, like walking. So in short, we'll get the Obama VP text and walk into an oncoming bus. The end.
Compare this to McCain, who only recently heard of the internets and registered his friendster profile with his '@aol.com' e-mail account.
