Also, my interview with David Brooks, the conservative pundit and New York Times columnist, on Sarah Palin, John McCain and Barack Obama. Both interviews were taped at the Republican National Convention last week.
At 4:30 EST, Nation correspondent Bob Moser joins me to talk about his new book Blue Dixie: Awakening the South's Democratic Majority. There's been a lot of talk about just what kind of success Barack Obama can have in the South, and Moser argues the Democrats have too easily written off the region and are poised to make inroads.
