Prop 8 Goes to CA Supreme Court

The odd thing about this is that the vote was 6-1 by the California Supreme Court to review legal challenges to Prop 8. The sole dissenter was a justice who voted with the majority in ruling for marriage equality. I'm sure there's an explanation that Prop 8 opponents will offer as to why that is not significant, but it seems weird to me and doesn't seem to bode well for us, since the original decision that ruled marriage for gays and lesbians as a constitutional right was a 5-4 decision. Anyway, we are now going to be waiting until March for a hearing, and perhaps June for a decision, and this is considered speedy.
