President Obama will sign the Defense Authorization Bill today, which has the hate crimes bill attached to it. He will have a signing ceremony with military leaders earlier in the afternoon. Then, later, he will hold a ceremony to mark the enactment of the first federal law ever to protect a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people. Will will cover what we can on the show, though I believe we may be off the air before the ceremony gets underway.
