The story of Edie Beale and her mother Edith Bouvier Beale - the aunt to Jackie Kennedy Onassis - living in a cat-infested, filthy, crumbling estate called Grey Gardens in East Hampton on Long Island became the iconic award-wining, documentary, Grey Gardens, a Broadway play and of course recently a feature film on HBO starring Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore.
