Today's Show: Malawi Launches Hunt On Gays

3:30pm EST - Over the past few months, we've been covering the news of the "Kill The Gays Bill" coming out of Uganda and how the religious right in the US has had a huge influence in the developement of this legislation. The anti-gay rhetoric and brutality has spread to other countries in Africa, when in December we saw a gay couple in Malawi was arrested for holding a wedding ceremony. Now, police in Malaw are arresting high profile gays and lesbians in what seems like a witch hunt. Covering this is David Smith, The Guardian's Africa correspondent, and joins us today to talk about the arrests and what the police are saying to justify this.
