Today on the Signorile Show

Guest / 3:30pm EST - We spoke a lot on Monday about Pope Benedict XVI's announcement that he would be stepping down at the end of the month.  And today, we see reports that the Pope has said he is stepping down for "the good of the Church".  We're joined today by Timmian Massie, professor at Marist College who has studied much of the Vatican, who asks in his latest piece for The New Civil Rights Movement, "Why did Pope Benedict Resign?" and helps us answer that question and many more today.

Guest / 4:30pm EST - For too long, pitbulls have been stigmatized as vicious animals, making them a favorite breed of neglectful abusive dog owners.  Joshua Holland, Editor with Alternet, joins us this afternoon to discuss how pitbulls have been inaccurately depicted, why this has been allowed to happen, and how we can stop the demonizing of his breed.
