Today on the Signorile Show

Guest / 2:30pm EST - In Colorado, Coy Mathis, a transgender first grader, had been using the girl's bathroom at her school, Eagleside Elementary, in the beginning half of the year, until the Fountain-Fort Carson School District informed her parents that she'd have to start using the boy's room or the staff bathrooms.  Kathryn Mathis, Coy's mother, joins us today to talk about the complaint they filed against the school district and how this has affected Coy.

Guest / 3:30pm EST - April DeBoer and Jayne Rowse, a lesbian couple who have been together for more than a decade, are currently suing the state of Michigan because the ban on same-sex marriage in the state prevents them from obtaining joint custody over their three adopted children, who are all special needs kids. A Federal Judge will hear the case this Thursday and could potentially overturn the ban.  April DeBoer and Jayne Rowse join us today with their attorney, Dana Nessel.

Guest / 4:30pm EST - Yesterday, President Obama announced some nominations to key posts in his Administration, one of them being Gina McCarthy as head of the Environmental Protection Agency.  This was good news to environmentalists who had entered the weekend with some alarming news about a study done by the State Department on Keystone XL pipeline that leads many to believe there's a chance for a green light on the pipeline.  Kate Sheppard of Mother Jones returns to the program today to speak with us about these stories.
