3:35pm ET - The Stop Street Harassment Organization, a nonprofit organization dedicated to documenting and ending gender-based street harassment worldwide has released a report titledUnsafe and Harassed in Public Spaces, which concludes that 65 percent of women surveyed have experienced some form of street harassment. Specifically, 23 percent have been sexually touched and 20 percent have been followed. Holly Kearl, the founder of Stop Street Harassment, joins us to discuss the report.  You can follow Holly on twitter and Stop Street Harassment on facebook.

4:35pm ET - Father’s Day is this Saturday and after decades of ignoring the role of fathers in child raising, psychologist, neuroscientist, and geneticists are discovering that fathers are intimately connected with their children in ways that no one ever suspected.  Joining us in studio is Paul Raeburn, the author of the forthcoming book Do Fathers Matter? What Science Is Telling Us About the Parent We’ve Overlooked, to tell us about the fascinating story of scientific discovery that will change the way we think about fathers.  You can also follow Paul on twitter and check out his blog.
