4:05pm ET - Following the Supreme Court’s decision in Citizens United v.Federal Elections Commission, the influx of money from big donors began to flood our election process, spreading the influence and power of a wealthy few over the rest of America.  As a result, Lawrence Lessig, a professor at Harvard Law School with ties to Silicon Valley and Mark McKinnon, a former adviser to President George W. Bush founded the Mayday “super PAC” which recently began a $12 million advertising campaign to help elect lawmakers of both parties who support proposals to diminish the influence of big donors. Joining us to discuss the issue of big money in politics and why he felt it necessary to combat this influx of money with more money is Lawrence Lessig. You can also follow Lawrence on twitter.
