4:05pm ET - On Tuesday it was announced that a team of scientists with the U.S. Geological Survey has found evidence linking the increased level of earthquake activity in Colorado and New Mexico since 2001 to the waste water injection process of hydraulic fracturing, or fracking. Joining us to discuss the study and explain its findings which were published in the Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America is Arthur McGarr, who is one of the USGS scientists that co-authored the study.
4:35pm ET - In recent weeks, Facebook has been deleting the profiles of drag queens and other performers for their use of stage names, because according to the social networking site's rules, users must go by their "real names". This policy and facebook’s decision to enforce it in such a way has caused an outpouring of complaints and protests against the social media giant. However despite this opposition the world's biggest social network is not budging from its rules, arguing that requiring people to use true identities can reduce online vitriol and bullying. Joining us to discuss facebook’s policy and how it is affecting the drag community is Sister Roma of the San Francisco based Sisters Of Perpetual Indulgence. You can also follow Sister Roma on facebook and twitter.
