Today on The Signorile Show!

 Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh

4:05pm ET - A lot has happened and changed in Ferguson Missouri since that fateful day back in early August when an unarmed teenager named Michael Brown was gunned down in the streets of his hometown by Police Officer Darren Wilson.  Joining us today to discuss what the current situation is like there and how the protest movement plans to mobilize this spring is Steven Thrasher, writer-at-large for the Guardian who recently spent time on the ground in Ferguson interviewing people involved with the protests and the Black Lives Movement.  You can also follow Stephen on twitter.

4:35pm ET - Last week, the Republican governor of Utah signed into law a bill that on the surface bans discrimination against LGBT people in employment and housing.   However, the bill which was endorsed by both The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and HRC also contains exemptions for religious groups that many people are claiming actually allows for greater discrimination against LGBT people, women, and minorities under the guise of protecting religious freedom.  Joining us today in studio to discuss the Utah bill as well as the current backlash against marriage equality that is sweeping across the nation is Kate Kendell, the Executive Director of the National Center for Lesbian Rights.  You can also follow Kate on twitter.
