Today on The Signorile Show!

3:35pm ET - Three years ago, the Center for Constitutional Rights filed a federal lawsuit on behalf of Sexual Minorities Uganda, a non-profit umbrella organization for LGBT advocacy groups in Uganda, against Abiding Truth Ministries President Scott Lively.  The lawsuit, alleges that Lively’s involvement in anti-gay efforts in Uganda, including his active participation in the conspiracy to strip away fundamental rights from LGBT people in that country, constitutes persecution and therefor he should be held accountable for that persecution under the Alien Tort Statute which The United States Supreme Court has affirmed the use of as a remedy for serious violations of international law.  Joining us today to discuss the case and the news that The Center for Constitutional Rights has learned that Martin Ssempa, another leading and notorious figure in the persecution of the LGBT community in Uganda, is in fact a U.S. citizen and therefore is subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S. court presiding over the case is Pam Spees a senior staff attorney in the international human rights program at the Center for Constitutional Rights and the lead council for Sexual Minorities Uganda v.Lively.  You can also follow Pam on twitter.

4:05pm ET - The great playwright, novelist and activist Larry Kramer joins us today to talk about his brand new epic novel The American People, Volume 1: Search for My Heart
