a massive earthquake struck Nepal killing more than 6,000 people and
devastating the country. Yet as rescue
operation continue and international aid has been pouring into the region, tens
of thousands of people still remain displaced and in need of assistance. Joining me today to talk about the
earthquake, its effects on Nepal and what can be done to help is Sunil Pant, the founder and director of
Nepal’s first LGBT rights organization, Blue Diamond Society and the country's
first openly gay politician, elected a Member of Nepal’s Parliament from 2008 –
