The Michelangelo Signorile Show on SiriusXM PROGRESS ch.127

We live in a world made by science, from the way we grow our food to the way we communicate with one and other, however for much of human history it wasn’t always this way, which begs the question of how and when did this great leap forward happen? In his new book The Invention of Science: A New History of the Scientific Revolution, Professor of history at The University of York, David Wootton tells the story of the extraordinary intellectual and cultural revolution during the 16th and 17th centuries that gave birth to modern science, and brought us to the point where we are today.  David joins me today to talk all about the book and the way that scientific thinking has become so much part of our culture today.
