Today on The Michelangelo Signorile Show on SiriusXM PROGRESS ch.127

Later tonight Sen. Tim Kaine and Gov. Mike Pence will meet for the first time on the debate stage, and for many Americans this will be the first time they get to know the two vice Presidential candidates.  However, for those of us who have been paying attention to right-wing politics for the past few years Mike Pence is no stranger to us, but rather a radical culture warrior who has displayed a willingness to uncritically adopt the kookiest, angriest, most deranged positions of the far-right wing of his party.  Joining me today to talk all about the Governor of Indiana and his radical agenda is Mark Joseph Stern who covers the law and LGBTQ issues for Slate.

Throughout his campaign for President, Donald Trump has been a fierce critic of Iran, denouncing its government as “the world’s top state sponsor of terrorism” and vowing to take a more warlike posture against the regime.  However, according to a new report by journalist working with the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists and the Center for Public Integrity, Trump’s organization did business with an Iranian bank that is linked to terrorism.  Joining me today to talk all about Trump’s business dealings with a state-controlled Iranian bank while at the time, the U.S. had a sweeping embargo in place which prohibited Americans from doing business with Iran is Dave Levinthal who is the senior political reporter at the Center for Public Integrity and was one of the team of journalist who broke this story.
