Today on the Signorile Show

Guest / 3:30pm EST
- The book Jet Age: The Comet, The 707 and the Race to Shrink The World, describes the rivalry that took place 50 years ago between America's Boeing 707 and the British de Havilland's Comet in the race for the sky with the birth of the commercial jet airliners. Author Sam Howe Verhovek joins us today to talk about the birth of commercial air travel.

Guest / 4:30pm EST - Last week, Lisa Ling, host of Our America on Oprah's new network OWN, did an episode titled "Pray The Gay Away," which was said to be a look at "one of the most polarizing debates in Christianity today: Is it possible to be gay and Christian at the same time?" Many have criticized the episode, say Ling could have done a better job exposing the truth behind the myth's of the "ex-gay." Wayne Besen of Truth Wins Out joins us this afternoon to discuss why he thinks Ling was "duped" by Exodus Internationals Alan Chambers and what he thinks Ling should have done to expose the group.
