Today on The Michelangelo Signorile Show on SiriusXM PROGRESS ch.127
In the aftermath of the housing crisis and the Great Recession,
an outraged public demanded that there be meaningful reform in the way we allow
the financial industry to operate. Angry speeches were given, congressional
hearings held, fines were levied for the most extreme cases of fraudulent practices,
and most notably some legislation to reform banking practices and the mortgage
market was also passed, such as the Dodd-Frank Act. However according to Chris Arnade a former
Wall Street trader, the banking industry needs more than regulation, it needs a
new culture. Chris joins us today to
talk all about bringing the idea of Broken-Windows Policing to Wall Street and
the possible affect it could have on the industry which he wrote all about for The Atlantic. You can also follow Chris on twitter.
