Did Mitch McConnell blink?

Larry Craig clearly was pissed about the blackmailing tactics the Senate leadership used to try to purge him, enough to now say he may not resign. And the Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell seems very worried about what Craig might do. As Pam Spaudling hilariously puts it, Craig has Mitch by the short ones. Pam's got the video up of McConnell on CNN suddenly seeming receptive to Craig staying on if he reverses his conviction. Wonder why.
