Boos for Brownback

Embryo-obsessed Senator Sam Brownback of Kansas got jeers from the audience at the Fox News Republican debate in New Hampshire last night after voicing his support for amending the Constitution to ban gays from marrying. Granted, this was New Hampshire, a state that is turning blue and whose Republican Party has always been more libertarian than theocratically conservative. Still, it's encouraging to see the emergence of this kind of hostile reaction to something that once was a sure bet for Republicans in elections.
