Joint Chiefs Chairman: Homosexuality Still "Immoral"
General Peter Pace, during a Senate hearing today, once again declared homosexuality "immoral" -- when he was asked by Senator Tom Harkin if he wanted to clarify his previous remarks --and members of Code Pink, the anti-war group, erupted in protest.
Code Pink member Lori Perdue, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a listener to my radio program, was dragged out of the hearing for shouting "Thou shalt Not kill!" just when Pace began spouting his Christian beliefs on homosexuality. She called the show right afterward, in the fourth hour today, and told listeners across the country everything that happened. I'm glad his comments did not go unchallenged. Lori and the other members of Code Pink are heroes.
