On the Show Today

The study on fruit flies in which researched were able to "turn on and off" sexual orientation: 3:30 ET with Dr. David Featherstone. And training your brain at Brain Gyms. I'll speak with one of the co-owners -- a lesbian couple -- about the latest in baby boomer fitness centers, this one designed for the brain. 4:30 ET.

Also: all the last on the campaigns: Huckabee attacks Bush (and gays): Romney attacks Huckabee (and gays); Giuliani caught lying again, and his pro-gay record revealed by New York activists. The Clinton-Obama horserace: We'll have a discussion with listeners about where you think the Democratic race is going and what it means.

Also: Today we'll start a drive for the week to raise money and help out a listener to the show who called in several months ago, still waiting for government help after his home was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Institutionalized homophobia was part of the reason why he's still living in a toxic FEMA trailer with his partner and their toddler on the Mississippi coast. Because of overwhelming response from listeners who heard William from Mississippi's call back in September on the Katrina anniversary, we will replay that call, speak with William again for an update, and let people know how they can help William, his partner and their daughter. We will do this in the fourth hour of the show, 5 p.m. ET

William can receive funds at Paypal, using his email address, or you can write him directly to offer any other assistance: William_200866@yahoo.com. I'll post more on this throughout the week.
