Murdoch for Obama?

Media oligarch Rupert Murdoch predicts a sweeping Democratic victory this fall. Although Fox News has been less than kind to the Democratic frontrunner, Murdoch told two reporters at the Wall Street Journal that he finds Obama "very promising" and that "you have got the Obama phenomenon. You have got, undoubtedly, a recession ... The average American is really getting hurt financially and that all bodes well for him." Murdoch went on to add that McCain has "A lot of problems."

Of course, we have to be skeptical of anything that comes out of Murdoch's mouth. Obviously he has his own agenda, and that probably doesn't involve electing a Democrat this fall. But he's resigned to it,and is making sure he butters both sides of the bread.
