A Fitting Honor

Remember how a couple months ago we talked on the show about the proposal in San Francisco to rename the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the George W. Bush Sewage Plant? To refresh you, we had performer Peaches Christ, one of the organizers of the effort, on the program to talk about it and help gain support. Well it appears the idea has gained enough signatures (their website claims to have collected 8,500 signatures as of June 22nd) to make it on the November ballot! We haven't been this excited since a fire swept through the Richard M. Nixon Recreation Center in eastern Kentucky.
