McClellan To Testify, Dismissing Attacks

Plamegate is back with a vengeance! Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan has agreed to testify under oath before the House Judiciary Committee next week on his role in the scandal and it's cover-up. I bet this is precisely what the Bush defenders were trying to stop when they began -- among other tactics -- their gay-baiting drumbeat, which we've discussed on the show . Perhaps it was in fact meant as a threat, not just to others who might turn, but to McClellan himself not to go further, or else. But obviously it's not stopping Scottie from talking.
