Maybe He Went To Argentina

Karl Rove skipped out on his subpoena to testify under oath before Congress yesterday about his role in the politically motivated prosecution and imprisonment of former Democratic Governor of Alabama, Don Siegelman. Will someone please throw Rove in jail already? Anyway this whole thing has to do with some crazy legal theory from Bush & Co. that Congress has no oversight power over them and thus can't hold them accountable for their various crimes.

Rove has offered to answer the Judiciary Committee's questions in writing, but certainly not under oath. Huh, we wonder why he wouldn't want to answer questions under oath if he hadn't done anything illegal as he maintains?

It's also come out that Rove didn't just skip out on his testimony, he's also left the country all together. Where could Rove be? Leave a suggestion in the comments.

We'll definitely be talking about this on the show today.
