At 3:30 EST Army Sergeant Darren Manzella will join us to talk about his recent discharge from the military under the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy. Manzella had actually been out of the closet since 2006, but continued to serve until now. He even appeared on 60 minutes and this progam as an open gay man while still on active duty.
Then at 4:30 EST the creators and stars of the off-Broadway musical BASH'd!, Chris Craddock and Nathan Cuckow will come on the show. BASH'd! chronicles the tale of Jack and Dillon; two star-crossed lovers who must cope with the reality of hatred when one is brutally beaten. It is told entirely through rap, spoken word and poetry, turning the often-homophobic musical genre on its ear.
