Wisconsin Representative Tammy Baldwin will help craft the 2008 Democratic Party platform:
Baldwin has been a strong advocate for same-sex marriage rights and has taken the lead in Congress in advocating for transgender rights. As a member of the 2008 platform drafting committee, Baldwin will have a chance to push for platform planks on these and other gay and trans issues.Baldwin has been on the program many times. We wish her the best of luck and will surely have her on to talk about whatever issues arise with this year's platform.
