Republican Civil War

This year's Republican National Convention in St. Paul looks like it's going to be a huge ideological train-wreck (and the show will be right there on the convention floor to survey the damage and poke the bodies with long sticks)! It seems the latest party schism is over what the 2008 Republican Party Platform is going to say. McCain would like to use a re-write of the platform to advance the myth that he is a moderate, but he's running to staunch opposition to the idea from just about everyone else who controls the party. Let's hope there is a riot!
