South Carolina Meltdown Over Gay Ads

The gay-targeted ad campaign that sent conservatives into a panic in South Carolina has now been pulled and the state employee who'd approved them has been fired. One can only imagine the kind of exiting corruption in South Carolina that should cost someone his or her job -- as in most places -- but here we have someone fired for trying to actually make the place an appealing vacation destination and bring in money.
