Whether it was an “uninvited” or flat out “no-show” situation Ralph Reed was certainly not in attendance at Republican Senator John McCain’s most recent fundraising event in Atlanta on Monday.
The former director of the Christian Coalition and one-time-wanna-be Lieutenant Governor of Georgia recently sent an email blast to supporters urging them to give to the McCain campaign. In the email messageReed – who was by the way reportedly directly connected to lobbying deals involving Indian casinos with disgraced Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff – instructed the potential email donors to send contributions directly to him, not the McCain campaign.
One question many are raising is what will McCain do with the campaign cash already raised by Reed?
