Veepstakes Pt. 1843928754

Yesterday on the show we talked about how Senator Evan Bayh of Indiana may be on Obama's V.P."short-list" and whether or not you thought that was a good thing, as a campaign has organized among some Democrats against Bayh. The new pretend Obama Vice President du jour is Virginia Governor Tim Kaine.

So, what does Kaine bring to the table? Well he's a blue Governor who won in a red state. He seems ideologically and personally aligned with Obama (the Times called him a "replication" of Obama). Plus he is fluent in the Spanish, which is helpful.

Oh and Kaine did personally campaign against the Virginia anti-gay marriage constitutional amendment in 2006.

What's your take on Kaine?
