Spain has a mixed record when it comes to political correctness. On one hand you can get gay-married there. On the other, we recommend you find Inquisition, Spanish in the index. In Spain the reaction to the Spanish Olympic basketball team posing with "slant eyes" has been mixed. Obviously we on the Signorile Show Team find the picture pretty offensive. But the interesting part about this whole incident is that it isn't getting the Chinese too worked up. So, if there isn't a strong outcry from China about this whole mess does that mean it's suddenly a non-issue? Chinese immigrants living abroad probably feel differently because they face more discrimination than people living in mainland China.
